Our kiln-dried mixed hardwood bags consist of alder and birch logs that have each been meticulously dried to meet Woodsure Ready to Burn standards (WS231/00001). This accreditation means that the logs contain less than 20% moisture, and therefore, are cleaner to burn, producing fewer smoke emissions than seasoned logs or other types of firewood.

The mixed bags can be purchased in batches of 16, 24, 32, 40, 64 or 72 and they are all packed in vented netted bags for increased airflow, seamless transportation and easy storage. Mixed hardwood logs are a cost-effective way to heat wood-burning stoves, chimineas and fireplaces, as they burn efficiently and circulate a steady warmth throughout the home.

Delivery is free to most UK locations and we dispatch as early as next day.

On the final step of the ordering process you will have the option to pick a "delivery day". We always strive to meet your selected day but this may not always be possible due to circumstances outside of our control. If there is ever a day delay on your delivery, please get in contact and we help you track the order and keep you updated on the status.

Please ensure you have checked your access against the requirements, and please ensure that you are able to accept delivery of a large and heavy pallet of wood. The third party delivery company are only tasked to deliver the wood to the kerbside of your property and their assistance is at the drivers discretion. They may not assist you with the manoeuvring of the wood to your storage area.

The Firewood Centre Logs.

Have used the Firewood Centre for a few years now to supply us with our winter logs. We have no complaints. They leave the logs on the road on a pallet as their lifter cannot place the logs on our gravel drive whish is understandable. The logs are netted which makes it easier to barrow round to our log store.

Wood is good, but delivery is a problem

The wood is fine, but when delivered it is on a pallet and can only taken to edge of drive as we have gravel. We have no means of moving it other than manually one bag at a time. Which when you are elderly takes a while, plus we now have a collection of pallets outside our home, with no way to dispose of other than to pay the council to collect them.
