Oak kiln-dried logs are a recommended choice for fireplaces, wood burning stoves and even restauranteurs using pizza ovens. Our 100% oak logs are meticulously dried in a kiln to 170° Celsius – this removes most of the moisture so that they comply with the Woodsure Ready to Burn standards and UK Clean Air regulations.

The great thing about kiln-dried oak logs is that they are easy to light, and they burn cleaner and slower with fewer smoke emissions. Rooms remain warmer for much longer, making them perfect for extended nights relaxing by the fireplace.

Oak logs also reduce any soot, tar or creosote build-up in chimneys, and they keep wood-burning stove glass fronts cleaner. They may be more expensive to purchase than mixed wood logs, but in the long-term they pay for themselves due to their long-lasting nature (four to eight hours burn) and the reduced need to re-order.
