64 Nets Kiln Dried Logs

The logs are fine. Good quality as advertised. The problem was the delivery. I called because it was late on the agreed date, only to be told no delivery. Problems happen yes, but not to get a phone call after waiting in all day ? Poor delivery service.

I have always been happy with the wood from firewood centre up until my very recent delivery hence 4 * instead of 5* review taking into account this order and previous orders. Had this been my first order would have been 3*. Orders are delivered when they say they will be and their delivery agents are also very helpful. Communication is good as is customer service when contacted.

The logs have previously come in mixed sizes with larger logs that burn longer ,once fire established, included. Usually I buy in autumn but , as there was an offer of 70 nets for price of 56 , and I have room I decided to purchase early. This is the first time I have bought at this time of year ( March). On moving bags to storeage it was immediately apparent they were smaller bags than my previous order. Normally I can only move 3 at a time but this batch I was moving 4 or 5 at a time. I compared sizes of last autumn bag and this delivery to be sure. Also all the logs are all much closer in size and on the smaller side so they are burning very quickly. They smell nice though.

So, lesson learnt, this offer was not nearly as good as it looked and I wish now that I had waited to order next autumn as usual to get the logs I usually get from firewood centre as I like the fact bigger logs are included.
