Description
Smokeless coal is the ideal fuel if you live in smoke control area, but is also an excellent general-purpose fuel that burns extremely cleanly with the lowest emissions of any fossil fuel available on the market. It lasts significantly longer than standard coal but still generates a lot of heat with almost no ash residue left behind to clean up. A great option for people with asthma or other breathing problems that are aggravated by smoke, but who still want to enjoy an open fire or wood burner. Note that you will need a dual fuel wood burner to burn smokeless coal that has a grate.

Ordered smokeless coal as we still have half a shed of wood from last year and thought that I should use some of the money from our solar panels to buy this as things are likely to get tougher this winter. At least we will have our multi fuel stove to keep us warm and the delivery from Firewood Centre was so easy. We did not even know that the pallet had been off loaded and was outside our front gate until the driver rang our bell to say it was delivered.
This is a really good company and we have told neighbours how good they are and who also ordered last year. Clean bagged kiln dried logs, easy to stack and to carry into the house.
