Description
Ash is a hardwood with similar properties to oak and is ideal to burn in both log burners and fireplaces. It has slightly less density than oak but is extremely popular as it burns for a very long time with a steady heat. Buying a full pallet of ash is extremely cost effective as not only do you get a significant bulk discount, the price is already more than 20% cheaper than the equivalent volume of mixed hardwood. Note that these logs are delivered in a sturdy crate rather than in netted bags, which helps us to deliver such amazing value for money for such a quality product.

Repeat customer and never been disappointed
We have bought from 5 different suppliers over the years and this is the best. The logs are just a bit smaller making them neater to store and handle, but best of all the wood burns well. It burns consistently and at a high temperature. This means that I do not have to put the next log on until the first log has reached the embers stage. Also we do not have a clear view stove and this wood leaves less residue on the glass.

Ash Firewood Full Crate
The lorry came early in the morning on the agreed date. The driver unloaded a huge crate of ash logs and delivered that to my drive as directed. The logs seemed to be all of a standard size and they are definitely dry, giving a bright flame when used. Very pleased and will order again.
